Her Excellency chaired the first meeting of the Education Councils, which was held at the headquarters of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, in the presence of His Excellency Suleiman Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the First School Branch, His Excellency Hessa Rasheed, Acting Executive Director of the Second School Branch, His Excellency Khaled Al Mazmi, Acting Executive Director of the Institutional Services Sector, and a number of educational leaders, with the participation of all Education board members.
Education councils include 35 members distributed over three councils, which are the School Leaders Council with 14 members, the Teachers Council with 14 members, and the Young Teachers Council with 7 members. Especially the initiative.
Her Excellency Sarah stressed that the education councils reflect the importance of the role of educational cadres in achieving the state's directions in the education file, as the initiative embodies the voice of the educational field, which is considered a main engine for the desired change, and through which light will be shed on the teacher's needs and requirements to move forward in drawing the educational reality that we aspire By reaching it in the country, pointing out that the educational field includes pioneering educational models and long-standing educational experiences capable of influencing and making a difference.
Her Excellency explained that the councils are an important platform for exchanging experiences, opinions and creative ideas to support the desired development and progress plans in the public education sector, and to create an atmosphere of constructive competition among the various members of the educational field, so that they all contribute to achieving the national indicators related to the education file with confidence and professionalism.
